• April 12 – Let’s Chill Together! Cool Treats, Music & Summer Vibes
  University of Alabama faculty and staff are invited to kick back on the Quad for cool treats, live music, and summer fun. Hosted by Human Resources, the afternoon features live music from The Rollouts, a band made up of Capstone Convergence team members, bringing good vibes and campus connection.

  The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is moving UA to Okta, a new single sign‑on provider that will streamline access and provide a more secure, consistent login experience through myBama.
  
• November 12 – Capstone Convergence Launches to Modernize UA’s Enterprise Systems
  The University of Alabama is launching Capstone Convergence, a bold, multiyear initiative to replace aging administrative systems that support finance, human resources and research operations with a modern, cloud-based platform.
